The Moon

Throughout the course of my life, the moon has been there. Just like it has been around since the universe was created. The moon is part of the cycle of life and it is part of every living body in the world. No matter where you are the moon has been there even though sometimes you can't see it in the day due to the sun light. People in the world have been using the moon to count the hours, days, weeks, months, years, and the thousands of years that have passed through time. Explorers used the moon and stars as a compass to guide themselves in the sea. Priest and Priestesses have used the moon as a god symbol, in the ancient times. Today we see the moon as a pretty big bright light in the sky, that the hopeless romantics used it to make their match fall in love with them. My favorite phase of the moon it is when it's at its fullest. Apart from its amazing and incredible powers to predict the seasons and manage the ocean waves, it is also a great source of light at night. Believe it or not, when you are not in a city and you are in a deep dark forest, you see that bright white light in the sky, when it’s a full moon and it looks as if a second son was over your head. The magic ring that appear in weird climates around the moon it’s also a very fascinating event, I don't know how it occurs but my guess it has to do with how much water is in the sky at that moment, and this huge circle forms around the moon, and it makes it look like the planet Saturn itself. After this much ramble, I have to say it doesn't really matter where you are from, the moon will affect your life one way or another. It is all part of the circle of life; it is never ending, and will continue for a long time from now.

Word Count: 344

P.S. Yes I can say I am a hopeless romantic :)
