ECHO
"The moment we stop fighting for each other, that is the moment we loose our humanity" that is a quote from a movie 2012, very good film. On my trip to the ECHO farm, I saw true humanitarianism. Seen this selected group of volunteers get together to find ways, on how to help all the decaying third world countries one way or another, it shows there is some humanity left in the world. Everything impacted me, from the little houses demonstrating how a lot of the population in the third world lives, to the practical engineering. The way they used practical object to make new technology and easy to use, for the third world population its a great work deserving of a reward. My favorite part of the trip was learning about this morenga seed, and also learning of the Neem tree. This two fascinating ecological objects, are the perfect way to keep an entire village healthy and strong. The moringa seed can clean the dirty water by sucking in the dirt. The Neem tree can make your teeth strong, just from biting one of the stems of the tree, it can also be used as pest controller. Furthermore ECHO has a very good idea of what they are doing, and they are changing lives all across the world. It is a very good place to get educated, and to educate others, I can definitively recommended to anyone who wants to support international humanitarianism, ECHO village is the place to get started.
Sense of Place
My neighborhood, where I live now it is a very common place down here in South West Florida. I believe I live in the Everglades and that has a huge impact in my life, for I am still trying to get used to seen panthers and a few deer in my backyard. I came from Cuba the most undomesticated animal that I saw over there was an iguana, not a joke. It was a very difference, and a huge impact to my life the change of environment although I don't mind it most of the time, surely it will always changes your life one way or another. The thing I love the most is staying up all night and looking up at the sky. Out where I live there is no city lights so it is the perfect spot to see the sky, the stars shine so bright every night, you wouldn't believe it. Also my favorite thing is see the sunrise from the rooftop of my house, you can see it rise over the trees, nothing like anything you've seen before, and of course the sunset by the beach, you will never see such a beautiful sunset unlike the one at Naples beach. My favorite part is the color that this environment has, they all intertwine together to form one of the most beautiful scenario's in planet Earth.

This is a very bright sunrise on my way to school in the morning :)
