Downtown Fort Myers

It is hard to believe that Fort Myers is a great and rich historical background. If events like the Civil War, Word war two had not happen; maybe Fort Myers would not be what it is today. History define us all one way or another and also describes our way of being. From the Calussa Indians to the white that came down with colonization, we all play a part in how the world changes, and we provoke the change, and we instigate it to fulfill the dreams of those that need a new path in their lives. It shows in the architecture of Downtown Fort Myers, which has been used and reused in the past decades. It shows the power humanity has to reuse what is already there. A few changes in remodel will change the view of a town completely. Thomas Jefferson and Ford, even though they came down here to escape the paparazzi, they actually used their heads to make new inventions and to provide the world with an industrial age that it will change the world and the territory around it. They brought so much to Fort Myers that is changed it into a livable environment to all sorts of citizens. It is also hard to believe that it was one of the first places in the world to receive electricity, it seems incredible. But that is the power of the human mind, if we put ourselves to change the world, we can do it. No matter how it is if rebuilding, or re-using, what is already to make something better, one way or another, something good will come out of it.

"Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude." Thomas Jefferson
